Baker ’11 SEISA Quals were held at Austin Yacht Club on April 17, 2011. All teams sailed in FJ’s. The course was a collegiate “N”. Wind began at 8-12 from S-SE. Sun was shining and it warmed quickly to hot. Wind built to 19-20 by 10:45 am and team racing conditions got tough. St Stanislaus built a quick lead of 3-0 then retired from their 4th match giving Rockwall their 1st win. Brother Martin beat Rockwall in 2 matches but lost to St Stanislaus in 2 matches. Considerations to continue were discussed but wind had built to 28, gusting to 31.5 (recorded). Racing was halted and St. Stanislaus advances to Baker Finals in Norfolk, VA. Congratulations to St. Stanislaus!
