PCISA Spring Calendar Team Representative Survey

Please see and distribute the attached Final PCISA Spring 2021 Calendar.

State, County, and Local re-opening guidelines and modifications were published late on April 16th, making the attached Calendar and events possible. We are working on publishing Notices of Race (NOR) and Online Entry Registrations in compliance with these guidelines. Please see the list below for anticipated publish and deadline dates. 

Publish and Deadline Dates (all deadlines at 5 PM PDT):

Team Race PCC’s/Baker Elims @ NHYC: 10 teams eligible for this have been notified. 
Publish NOR and Entry by 4/19/21; Entry Deadline 4/20/21

NorCal & SoCal's - May 1-2
Publish NOR and Entry available 4/20/21;  Entry Deadline 4/26/21

Gold PCC’s - May 8-9
Publish NOR & Entry available 5/3/21 Entry Deadline will be 5/5/21

The Gold NorCal & SoCal may be used for Qualification to the Gold PCC’s if necessary. Teams wishing to participate in the Gold PCC’s should plan to send at least their top two teams to the Gold NorCal or SoCal.

Guidelines (Detailed requirements will be included in the NOR’s, Sailing Instructions, and other official documents):

• Masks and Social Distance will be required at all times while on land (including docks). Everything will be outdoors except restrooms.
• Schools will be limited to 1 Coach and 1 Responsible Adult (This can be the same person) at each event. NO OTHER PARENTS OR SPECTATORS ALLOWED AT THE VENUES FOR THESE EVENTS.
• Fleet Sizes will be limited at each event. Team Racing - 10 Teams (9 Sailors per team). Gold PCCs - 20 Teams (8 Sailors per team). NorCals/SoCal's - 35 Boats each day (No Alternate Sailors).  

We suggest that tentative travel arrangements are fairly easy to make at reasonable pricing when done well in advance and are, in most cases, easily canceled. Last-minute arrangements can be complex and expensive. Thus well-managed contingency plans made sooner rather than later will likely serve our teams best. We wish we could be more definitive further in advance, but that is not the nature of this current pandemic and the related regulatory bureaucracy.

IMPORTANT - To help with the organization of these events, we require that a Representative from each School/Team  (Coach or Responsible Adult) complete the below Google Form Survey by Monday, April 18, 2021, at 5 pm PDT. Sooner is better!
